Loop-shaped water supply system planned

Xiamen will set out to build a loop-shaped water supply system with multiple sources to ensure the safety of drinking water, officials in Xiamen announced. By the end of this year, water from the North Creek will be transmitted to Xiamen through concealed pipelines. Upon completion of the project, water from the Jiulong River will be transmitted to Xiamen through underground pipelines to avoid contamination.
